1. What is a hostel?

Hostels is a budget friendly, social, sharing accommodation where guests can rent a bed, usually a bunk bed, in a dormitory. This means you will be sharing a space with sometimes, 4, 6, 8 or 10 other travelers. They provide common areas as well as communal facilities such as bathrooms and kitchens.

2. What time is check in and check out?

Check in is anytime from 14h00 to 21h00 and check out is anytime before 10h00.

3. Do you have any age restrictions?

Since rooms are on sharing basis, guests who wish to bring their children under 12 years of age must book a whole dorm or private room or contact us in advance to make the arrangement.

4. Can I check in early?

We are pleased to accommodate early arrivals upon request, subject to availability. Check-in between 6:00 AM – 12:00 NN will incur a half day charge.

5. Can I check out late?

Late check-out is also subject to availability. Half day rate will be charged when you decide to check-out from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. If you decide to check-out beyond 6:00 PM, a whole-day rate will be charged.

6. Do you provide luggage storage?

Yes, the hostel offers luggage storage free of charge. For guests who arrive earlier, we will be able to store your luggage with us till your rooms are ready. For guests who wish to leave your luggage after check-out, the maximum storage period is thirty (30) days or one (1) month. We reserve the right to dispose of any luggage or items not claimed after the maximum storage period allowed. Guests who wish to leave their luggage five (5) days or more are required to sign a waiver.

7. Do you provide lockers?

We provide lockers in all room that could fit full-sized luggage. Locks are available at reception to purchase at R 40.

8. Are visitors allowed?

Visitors are only allowed in the communal areas such as the lounge and courtyard. Visitors are requested to vacate the premises by 10pm.

9. Do you provide any pick up or shuttle service from and to the airport?

Yes we do. The Airbus Shuttle Service R 80 and it leaves the airport/hostel every hour from 04am to 22h00 – alternatively you may us Uber which operates all hours.

10. Are there parking spaces?

Yes but we only have limited parking slots and it has to be arranged prior to your travels.

11. Can you help us book tours and activities?

Definitely! Our reservationists would be happy to assist you in arranging these tours.

12. Do you supply towels and linens free of charge?


13. Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes. Its R 70 per load.

14. Does every room have a private shower and toilet?

Only our Premium rooms have ensuite bathrooms. Standard Double Rooms 1 and 2 share a bathroom. All other room types have shared bathroom.

15. Are there any cooking facilities?

We have a communal kitchen. If you wish to buy food, we have buckets for storage in the fridge and on the shelf for nonperishables.

16. Are there hair dryers?

Yes you can borrow one from the reception.

17. Can I bring my pet?

Unfortunately no pets are allowed in the building.

18. Can buy or rent a travel adaptor?

You can buy a travel adaptor at our reception.

19. How do I cancel my booking?

If you need to cancel a hostel booking, make sure you check the cancellation policy on the booking page you have booked first.

20. What’s your cancellation and refund policy ?

Please read the cancellation policy which explains everything you need to know about cancelling a hostel booking and your eligibility for a refund.

21. Do you serve breakfast and how much is it ?

Yes we serve a cereal breakfast with fresh fruit and yogurt on some days and pancakes on other days which is free according to your booking otherwise R 20.

22. Do you have a bar ?

Yes our bar is until 23h00 each night.
